New washing machines are produced in Uzbekistan based on technologies of Midea, which is one of top ten producers of home appliances.

Nodirberk Ibragimov, Artel managing director, said the company will produce four models of such washing machines.

He said that these washing machines are cheaper and does not require regular water source. Its capacity is 6 kg. The rotation speed is 1,350 revolutions per minute. Ibragimov said that any washing powder can be used in washing machines and it consumes electricity twice less compared to automatic washing machines.

Artel managing director underlined that the company is planning to produce 5,000 washing machines of Twin Tub in 2012 and 50,000 in 2013. The capacity of the line is 100,000 machines a year.

Nodirberk Ibragimov also added that Artel is planning to start production of refrigerators and automatic washing machines under its own brand in the first half of 2013.
