Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 5 to 11 September, the State Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan will host a number of events as part of the "Art Week 2022", timed to coincide with the celebration of the 31st anniversary of Uzbekistan's Independence.

Art Week will include:

– Grand opening of the exhibition “Independence in my work”, on 5 September;

– Open lesson on the topic “From the history of Tashkent madrasas”, on 6 September;

- Exhibition and round table "A look at the work of the artist", on 7 September;

– Master class and round table on the topic “Tablets of Sogdian writing”, on 8 September;

- Competition "Young guide" among students of secondary schools, on 9 September;

– Creative meeting, master class and round table with sculptors on the topic “I am proud of my work”, September 10;

- Commemorative event "Usto Mumin" in honor of the 125th anniversary of the birth of the artist A.V. Nikolaev and the closing ceremony of the week of arts, on 11 September.

Participants of the events will be awarded. Participation in all events is free.
