Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On the eve of Independence Day in Tashkent, with the support of the State Committee for Tourism Development, it is planned to open the Sogdiana art center. A modern center of fine and applied art will be created to visit citizens, foreign and local tourists, amateurs national crafts and painting.

23 workshops, showrooms, an art gallery and a creative studio - all this will be located on 1600 squares of a comfortable art center.

Having visited the Sogdiana art center, you can find everything from a beshik cradle to various souvenirs and household items. The center will also present special materials for their manufacture, since it is planned to conduct various master classes from eminent artists.

“We gather here, not only artisans, but also artists. In Tashkent, until that time, due attention was not paid to the art of painting. Paintings are expensive, and artists do not want to sell them for cheap. Here we attract everyone - artisans, artists, and even young entrepreneurs who do not yet know how to organize the trade of such products. Workshops for the work of artists will also be created here,” Svetlana Kruglikova, art director of the Sogdiana Center, said.

Craftsmen can bring their products from different regions to the Sogdiana art center. Also, the sale of finished products will be arranged here.

In the Sogdiana art center all the amenities for visiting tourists will be created, photo zones and food zones will be organized, where it will be possible to get acquainted with the variety of Uzbek national dishes.
