In line with the document, the museum was renamed into the State Museum of Armed Forces of Uzbekistan.

Scientific-methodical and scientific-research information center will be created under the museum, the resolution said.

The document said the center will develop museum, fulfillment of resources and expositions with the exhibits. The center will also create new exposition till April 2010.

It is expected that the museum will receive exhibits and documents, related to military history of Uzbekistan people, from foreign museums.
