Aripov proposes to partners in the EAEU to resume transportation by land transport

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov proposed to partners in the EAEU to resume transportation by land transport.

"Given the observed stabilization of the epidemiological situation in the world and the vaccination of the population being carried out in our countries, we believe that it is time to resume passenger traffic in rail and road transport," the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan said. It was reported by Sputnik Uzbekistan.

He noted that the strategy of Eurasian economic integration until 2025 envisages the development of transport infrastructure, including within the framework of linking the EAEU with the One Belt, One Road initiative.

“In this context, the real implementation of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway construction project can become an important link in the regional transport network,” Aripov added.
