Ardus defeats all opponents in qualification round of AFC Futsal Club Championship
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Ardus Tashkent claimed a 9-1 victory over Qatari club Ar-Rayyan in the fourth day of the qualification round of the AFC Futsal Club Championship.
In the result, the Uzbek club topped the group with 12 points after four victories in the same number of matches. The club scored 24 goals.
Qatar’s Al-Rayyan also qualified to the final stage of the AFC Futsal Club Championship with seven points. The final stage of the AFC Futsal Club Championship will be held in Kuwait on 1-7 July 2012.
Thai Son Nam (Vietnam) and GH Bank RBAC (Thailand) also qualified to the final stage from other qualification round.
Clubs from Japan, Iran and Lebanon claimed automatic qualification berth to the final round of the tournament. Kuwait champions will also participate in final stage as a host.
