Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Egyptian company Arab Nihol Investors has expressed interest in building a tourist complex worth US$100 million in Samarkand region, Dunyo agency reports.

At a meeting with the founder of the Uzbek-Egyptian joint venture Arab Nihol Investors, entrepreneur Ahmed Zeidan at the Uzbekistan Embassy in Cairo, details of the implementation of the project of a tourist complex on an area of 42 hectares in Urgut district were discussed.

The investment project involves implementation in three stages: the first stage includes the construction of a cable car worth US$18 million, the second - the construction of a hotel with 100 rooms for US$32 million, the third - the creation of a sanatorium for 100 beds for US$50 million.
