Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers from 8 July 2024 No. 390 was adopted, amending the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers from 9 March 2021 No. 125 “On additional measures to improve the procedure for mandatory vehicle inspection”.

According to the changes:

- The procedure for determining the places of vehicle inspection for legal entities by the Road Safety Department (GSBDD) is canceled.
  
- Private entrepreneurs are allowed to provide vehicle inspection services for categories M1, M2, M3, N1, N2, N3.
  
- The requirement for the Road Safety Department to request copies of the entrepreneur's charter when conducting vehicle inspections is canceled.
  
- The electronic systems of entrepreneurs providing vehicle inspection services must be integrated with the GSBDD’s "Technical Inspection" module.

Additionally, for conducting vehicle inspections, individuals and legal entities can apply via the my.gov.uz or the GSBDD mobile application. The request will be sent through electronic channels to the entrepreneur providing the service. An online notification will be sent to vehicle owners about the place and time of the inspection.
