APIC index for October comprised 61.1 points, or decreased by 0.2 points compared to September (61.3 points). At the same time, the expected APIC index for November made up 67.6 points.

Business Activity Index in industry sector (APIC 100) was developed in June 2010 and calculated based on survey of 100 large and medium businesses. The APIC 100 replaced the Index APIC 50 (based on survey of 50 enterprises).

The index higher than 50 demonstrates the growth of business activity and general positive trend, lower than 50 shows recession.

The index is calculated based on 5 basic indicators, such as new orders, production volume and realization, employment and ready products at warehouse.
