Antimonopoly bodies reveal 40 violation of antimonopoly legislation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Antimonopoly bodies of Uzbekistan revealed 40 facts of violation of requirements of legislation during inspection of decision of local state bodies.

Territorial anti monopoly bodies carried out inventory of 44,443 decisions and orders, adopted by local authorities in places to ensure their adherence to the Law of Uzbekistan “On competition and limiting monopoly activity in goods market”.

The State Demonopolization Committee of Uzbekistan revealed 40 violations of antimonopoly legislations during review of decisions of local governments.

The analysis showed that the main part of violations related to attracting financial resources of businesses to various events without their content. There were also facts on ordering to insure automobiles in concrete insurance company and open account in concrete bank, which limits choice of selection.

There were also facts on providing adventitious right to some businesses to carry out works or on allocation of land area without holding competitions, which serves as barrier for equal access to market and development of competition.

Antimonopoly bodies adopted corresponding measures in line with the legislation of Uzbekistan.
