Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Tashkent is set to add another gastronomic street, which will be located on Sadik Azimov Street.
Mikrokreditbank and the Yashnabad District Administration have completed the project work to transform Sadik Azimov Street into a gastronomic hub, operating 24 hours a day.
The project will include the installation of street lighting, benches, trash bins, decorative tree saplings, and irrigation systems. An audio-music system will be set up, along with decorative arches and columns, and a photo zone will be organized.
Plans also include the construction of pedestrian walkways, bike lanes, parking areas, and modern benches that do not obstruct pedestrian movement. Food trucks offering street food will be set up, and a children’s playground and a large 3D monitor will be installed.
All food and retail outlets on this street will be equipped with terminals for foreign currency payments. Modern ATMs and information kiosks operating around the clock will also be installed.
Earlier in July 2024, it was reported that another gastronomic street will be created on Taras Shevchenko Street. In March, the Tashkent Administration announced plans for the first gastronomic street in the Yashnabad District. Additionally, a gastronomic street is planned for Sultanali Mashkhadi Street in Tashkent.
