Andrei Anisimov has been appointed as acting director-general of Unitel LLC, who earlier worked as Regional Development Director. Igor Pilyugin will continue his work in VimpelCom in mobile Internet development direction in Russia.

Igor Pilyugin had headed Beeline operations in Uzbekistan for two years. During this period, the company launched the first 3G network for commercial mode, offered several tariff plans and national currency, completed integration of mobile operator Unitel and fixed communication operator Buzton, developed convergent products.

Dmitriy Kromskiy, Vice-President on Business Development in the CIS, said that under leadership of Igor, Beeline was the first in many things in Uzbekistan and it became the only operator in Uzbekistan, which renders all spectrums of telecommunication services. He said that Igor’s contribution will serve as ground for development of business.

Igor Pilyugin said that Uzbekistan will always remain in his heart as hospital and sunny country. “I express my gratitude for support to Unitel and Buzton teams and I wish my colleagues new business ideas and successful realization of new projects.”
