Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Andijan and Krasnodar signed a memorandum of intent on 24 April 2023.

The document was signed by the head of Krasnodar Evgeny Naumov and the first deputy khokim of Andijan Shavkatbek Nishanov during the International Industrial Exhibition “Innoprom. Central Asia" in Tashkent.

The parties will strive to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various areas, such as education, tourism, culture, sports and youth policy. The memorandum was signed for one year.

— With colleagues from Andijan, we discussed the potential of our cities in various areas. They reinforced their intentions by signing a memorandum. In our difficult time, it is important to establish strong relations in the international arena. I am sure that this document will be an important step towards strengthening cooperation not only between Andijan and Krasnodar, but also between our countries,” Evgeny Naumov wrote in his Telegram channel.
