ANDE show: for those with passion for Spanish fashion
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Spain’s Association of New and Young Designers (ANDE) presented collections by six up-and-coming fashion designers at the Youth Art Palace and created an atmosphere of a Spanish fiesta.

The first designer who presented her collection was Sevilla de Moda. The Classical dresses ‘a-la Carmen’ set the tone for the entire show. The gypsy skirts, flowers fit into smooth hairstyles and high heels were there to tell those gathered that Spanish passions were taking over the catwalk. The fine lines that played up the silhouette, short and floor-length polka dot dresses made up 11 colorful designs that would be the envy of ladies with a taste for Spanish fashion.

Susana Escribano, in her women’s collection, accentuated gaiters as well as black, bordeaux and crimson combined with grey on dresses for daily wear. An original collection crafted in reserved tones with bright details came from Teresa Lopera. The designer made use of the art of knitting, translated into a scarf and a sweater in the same set. Laura Bio offered a variety of corsets coupled with short and long dresses that could be worn daily or on special occasions.

Hector San Blas presented men’s designs that combined white and yellow. A bold combination of classical and sporting styles: a sports jacked came with classical pants or shorts, or vice versa, a classical suit was worn with sports pants. Also presented were variations on shirts with extraordinary solutions.

The hit of the show was a swell dress by Luis Auriz that could be created only by a Spanish fashionista. Suave pink, a corset and a long layered skirt with innumerable ruches… The piece would be a great pick both for a wedding ceremony and a prom night.

In Spain young promising fashion designers are supported by the Association of New and Young Designers (La Asociación de Nuevos y Jóvenes Diseñadores Españoles - ANDE). A non-profit organization, it works to promote and disseminate the work of new talents in Spanish fashion. The Association provides consultations, logistical and infrastructural support, encourages new fashion talents by organizing fashion awards, and presents works by promising designers at various events and shows.
