Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 18 April, early in the morning at Tashkent International Airport, an aircraft of the Turkish AnadoluJet airline landed, opening a new passenger route: Ankara-Tashkent-Ankara. 

By tradition, a Boeing 737-800 type aircraft was solemnly greeted with a water arch. The crew and 160 passengers were greeted with flowers to the sounds of karnay and surnay by the leadership of Uzbekistan Airports, the Turkish ambassador to Uzbekistan, representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Transport, as well as the airline.

It is planned that flights in this direction will be carried out on a regular basis once a week - on Mondays.

AnadoluJet is a Turkish Airlines project headquartered in Ankara. The air carrier’s fleet includes 59 aircraft, which carry out both domestic and international flights to 89 destinations.
