Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A grand opening ceremony of the Tashkent Oasis restaurant was held in Valencia, Spain, in which diplomats from the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Spain took part, Dunyo news agency reported.

The restaurant was founded by our compatriot Khusnutdin Umarov, who has been working in the culinary field in Spain for many years.

The event was attended by the Honorary Consul of Uzbekistan in Valencia, Jose Maria Chiquio, representatives of the diplomatic corps and travel companies, as well as Uzbek citizens living in Valencia.

During the event, a presentation was made of the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, including its ancient cities - Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva. The successes achieved as a result of large-scale reforms carried out in our country in recent years were also noted.

Guests of the event became the first visitors to the new restaurant and were able to try national dishes of Uzbek cuisine.
