Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In cooperation with the Committee on Tourism and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Astana and with the support of the Ambassador of Tourism of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan Lazzat Akhanova, an info tour was organized in Uzbekistan with the participation of representatives of large travel companies.

During the info-tour, foreign guests got acquainted with the historical cities and new tourist complexes of Uzbekistan. Negotiations were held with local tour operators in the regions to organize trips for Kazakhstanis. At the end of the information tour, an open dialogue was organized with the participation of representatives of the tourism industry of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in the building of the Tourism Committee. The event was attended by the chairman of the committee U. Shodiev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan Saidikram Niyazkhodzhaev, tourist entrepreneurs of the two countries.

During the dialogue, the issues of developing high-quality and affordable tour packages and organizing high-quality service for them throughout Uzbekistan were discussed in order to increase the visits of Kazakh tourists to Uzbekistan for recreation.

The issue of ensuring the participation of the Kazakhstani tourism administration and industry representatives in the Tashkent International Tourism Fair (TITF), which will be held in Tashkent in November this year, was also considered.
