Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 1 August, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov and General Director of the Turkish Esan Eczacibasi Savash Shahin signed an investment agreement on the project "Development of the Uchkulach deposit in Farish district of Jizzakh region."

The aim of the project is to organize the production of non-ferrous metals (zinc, lead, cadmium, bismuth, silver) through the construction of a mining and processing complex and a plant for processing lead-containing products.

During the ensuing negotiations, the issue of implementing additional investment projects in Uzbekistan was agreed upon.
