Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Resolution of the President "On holding an international forum of pottery and an exhibition and sale of pottery products" was adopted.

According to the resolution, starting from 2022, the International Pottery Forum and the Exhibition and Sale of Pottery Products (hereinafter referred to as the Forum) will be organized once every two years in September.

The first Forum will be organized in September 2022 in the Rishtan district of the Fergana region during the II International Festival of Folk and Applied Arts.

The Forum can subsequently be held in stages by the Organizing Committee in other regions of the republic in agreement with the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

According to the resolution, the official website of the Forum will be launched until March 1, 2022, where the sale of handicraft products and other memorable gifts is organized.

When selling handicraft products and other memorable gifts through the official website of the Forum, it is allowed to conclude direct contracts for public procurement for a period until October 1, 2024.

Artistic expertise of handicraft products and other memorable gifts, for the export of which abroad in accordance with the law requires artistic expertise, is carried out on the day of their purchase without charging a fee directly at the venues.
