Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A powerful explosion thundered near a military hospital in the Afghan capital of Kabul, Reuters reported.

The explosion was followed by shooting.

RIA Novosti, citing an eyewitness to the incident, reports that "the suicide bomber attack took place in a 400-bed hospital located next to the Ministry of Public Health."
