Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Tashkent, on 28 September, at 02:43, the duty department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report of an explosion and subsequent fire that occurred in one of the warehouses located on the territory of the Stroitel array in Sergeli district of Tashkent.

16 fire and rescue crews and 3 ladder trucks immediately rushed to the scene of the incident. Crews arrived at the scene at 02:48 and are currently putting out the fire.

According to a message from the Ministry of Health, those injured in the fire were taken to the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care and its branch in the Tashkent region.

So far there are no serious injuries among them. At the moment, doctors are providing all necessary medical care to the victims.

To provide quick medical care in medical institutions, our doctors and all the necessary supplies of medicines have been created. Those injured as a result of the fire and those in nearby apartments are provided with urgent medical care.

Also, the Ministry of Emergency Situations is asked not to believe in the fake news spread on the Internet that the incident in the Sergeli region “occurred as a result of a plane crash.”

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire occurred in a warehouse owned by Inter Logistic LLC.
