Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Uzcharmsanoat association aimed at further developing modern automated slaughterhouses operating in Uzbekistan and creating a unified electronic database of obtained cattle meat. This was reported by the press service of Uzcharmsanoat.

The meeting was held at the initiative of the Association in the format of a videoconference. It was attended by heads of slaughter enterprises, representatives of regional branches of the Association, heads and senior officials of the Committee for Veterinary Medicine and Livestock Development under the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as heads of regional departments of the committee.

At the meeting, proposals were put forward for the further development of modern automated slaughter shops operating on the territory of Uzbekistan, the study of existing problems in the field and the development of practical ways to solve them.

The activities of modern automated slaughter enterprises operating in the regions of the country were also analyzed. In particular, the degree of use of the VIS BILLUR electronic system at modern slaughterhouses, their financial performance, problems arising in the delivery of meat and meat products to social facilities were discussed in detail. Tasks for their timely and effective solution are defined.

The proposals and recommendations of the commission on the organization of work in slaughterhouses on the basis of veterinary and sanitary rules were heard.

Also, the heads of slaughter enterprises heard questions arising in their activities. It was decided to study and develop a roadmap for timely and effective problem solving.
