Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Presidential resolution “On additional measures to expand opportunities for mastering modern knowledge and professions” was adopted.

In accordance with the resolution, from 1 October 2022, it was decided to introduce a system for allocating educational loans to train young people at training courses in the field of information technology of non-state educational organizations.

Educational loans are allocated:

at the main rate of the Central Bank (15%);

in the amount of up to 65 sizes of basic estimated value for a period of 4 years with a one-year grace period;

children from families included in the Unified Register of Social Protection do not require collateral and guarantee when receiving an educational loan for studying in the field of information technology.

From 1 November 2022, young people enrolled in training courses of organizations that are residents of IT parks, or who have successfully completed these courses within the last 6 months, will be allocated a consumer loan for the purchase of a computer in an amount not exceeding 25 sizes of basic estimated value (up to 7.5 million soums).

At the same time, part of the interest payments on consumer loans, up to 1.5 times the main rate of the Central Bank, is compensated at the expense of the State Youth Policy Support Fund.
