Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the visit of the government delegation of Uzbekistan to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry D. Vakhabov met with General Director of Lotus Garments Group Hossam Gabr.

During the meeting, information was given on the reforms carried out in the textile sector in our country in recent years, and at the presentation of the textile network of Uzbekistan, readiness for long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation with Egypt in this area was noted.

Agreements were also reached on the production of jeans for the world’s leading brands, including Uzbek textile enterprises in the production chain of the Lotus Garments Group.

Lotus Garments Group was established in 1994 and is the largest manufacturer of ready-made textiles (jeans) in Egypt. They mainly supply products for well-known brands in the USA and Europe (Polo, Levi’s, Calvin Klein, etc.) in the amount of about 1.8 million pieces per month.
