Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An agreement on cooperation was signed between the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development and the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus. The document was signed by Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development Ulughbek Azamov and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Guryanov during the VIII meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Bilateral Cooperation. 

The parties agreed to cooperate in promoting tourism products, exchanging information and experience in the field of tourism, organizing info-tours, training personnel, supporting various types of tourism: health, ecological, gastronomic, mountain, cultural, archaeological and agrotourism. 

It should be noted that cooperation in the field of tourism with the Republic of Belarus is also actively developing within the framework of multilateral formats, such as the CIS Tourism Council, etc. The signing of this interdepartmental Agreement will give a new impetus to bilateral relations between our countries and strengthen the legal framework in the field of tourism.
