Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By a presidential decree, amendments and additions were made to some regulatory legal acts.

According to the amendments to the relevant Decree of the President, in the 2023/2024 academic year, on the basis of a state grant, an additional 3,000 places will be allocated for young people permanently residing and graduating from organizations of general secondary, secondary specialized and vocational education in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

At the same time, the need for areas and industries in personnel with higher education will be determined, and proposals in the context of higher educational institutions and areas of education will be submitted to the State Commission for Admission to Educational Organizations of the Republic of Uzbekistan by 20 July 2023.
