Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A power outage occurred at Tashkent International Airport on 27 August 2023at 22:09 local time due to an accident at the Kuylyuk city substation. 

Within a few seconds, power was restored from backup sources to the facilities providing flights: runways, air traffic control facilities, radio navigation equipment. Thanks to this, there were no flight delays at the airport of the capital. 

Also, the arrival terminal and the domestic airlines terminal were immediately transferred to backup sources. Within 15 minutes, at 22:24, the power supply was restored in the departure terminal of international airlines. 

At 22:40, the accident at the Kuylyuk city substation was eliminated and power was fully restored at the airport of the capital.
