Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Khayrullo Bozorov, khokim of Ferghana region, held a meeting with representatives of the Austrian company AME International to discuss the construction of a multidisciplinary children's medical center in the city of Kokand.

During the meeting, the regional governor emphasized that Uzbekistan is implementing large-scale reforms aimed at strengthening public health and improving the quality of medical services, highlighting the importance of adopting advanced international practices.

He expressed full support for the initiative and confirmed the regional administration’s readiness to provide comprehensive assistance for the implementation of the project.

At the initial stage, the investment volume is expected to amount to US$15 million.

Following the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed, outlining the creation of a pediatric medical center in Kokand specializing in pediatrics and oncology.

It is worth noting that AME International is a company with extensive experience in the development and construction of modern healthcare infrastructure.
