Greeting the heads of diplomatic missions, President Islam Karimov said ambassadors play key role in strengthening relations between two states, implementation of existing agreement and contracts. Uzbek leader wished success to diplomats in their missions.
German envoy Aristid Emil Fenster said during the conversation that Germany and Uzbekistan wield convincing capacities for the expansion of multilayered ties, and that he is willing to make every effort to facilitate that.
Oman’s ambassador Muhammad Bin-Sa'id Bin-Muhammad al-Lavati stressed that he is especially honored to represent his country in Uzbekistan, in a country that has played a historic role in the formation of Islamic civilization and is currently a key constituent in providing for security and stability in the wider Central Asian region.
On his part, Hynek Pejcha pointed out that he views further enhancement of bilateral contacts and boosting their practical aspects as his principal task.
The Iranian ambassador Ali Mardoniy Fard underscored that he sees the further consolidation of bilateral relations and expansion of mutually advantageous cooperation as the major goal of his mission in Uzbekistan.
