Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ambassador of Uzbekistan, based in Budapest, Oybek Shahavdinov, presented his credentials to the President of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, according to Dunyo news agency.
After the official ceremony, a meeting took place during which both sides discussed the prospects for developing relations between Uzbekistan and Croatia.
The main focus was on expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation. Both parties expressed interest in intensifying collaboration in key areas of mutual interest.
It is worth noting that in October of this year, Oybek Shahavdinov, who became the first Uzbek Ambassador to Croatia, handed over copies of his credentials to the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
