Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan in Vienna Bakhtiyor Ibragimov presented his credentials to the President of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen, Dunyo news agency reported.

According to Dunyo, during the conversation, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in political, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres.

The President of Austria congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and expressed hope that his activities will contribute to the further expansion of multifaceted relations between the two countries.

It should be noted that Bakhtiyor Ibragimov is also the permanent representative of Uzbekistan to the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
