Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador of Uzbekistan Feruza Makhmudova met with the mayor of Tel Aviv-Yafo Ron Khuldai, Dunyo news agency reported.

At the meeting, issues of establishing relations between the administrations of Tashkent and Tel Aviv-Yafo and promising areas of cooperation between the two cities were discussed.

Ron Khuldai expressed interest in expanding bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Israel, as well as his readiness to support the development and development of targeted projects.

The Israeli side paid special attention to the large-scale reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan, including in domestic and foreign policy, the processes of strengthening interethnic and religious tolerance, tolerance and stability.

At the end of the meeting, mutual interest was expressed in the development and implementation of joint projects in various fields, including digital technologies in city management, youth entrepreneurship and tourism.

Tel Aviv-Yafo is considered a major business, cultural and tourist center of Israel.
