Aloqabank’s own capital grows by 39.9% in 2010
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Own capital of Open joint stock commercial Aloqabank increased by 39.9% year-on-year in 2010 and made up 64.7 billion soums as of 1 January 2011, the expanded session of Aloqabank Board said.

The bank said that the volume of deposits at Aloqabank increased by 33.4% year-on-year in 2010 due to measures on stimulating attraction of free resources of population and businesses to deposit. The volume of deposits reached 46.3 billion soums.

The assets of the bank grew by 41.7% year-on-year to 344.6 billion soums in 2010. The positive changes were also observed in crediting and investing activities of the bank. In 2010, the volume of loans, issued to individuals and legal entities, exceeded 111.3 billion soums.

The bank said it paid special attention to financial support of small businesses and private entrepreneurship. The volume of loans, issued to this sector of economy due to own resources of the bank, made up 80.9 billion soums. The bank increased the volume of issued microcredits by 5.4 times year-on-year to 10.8 billion soums in 2010.

Aloqabank also carried out work on financial rehabilitation of insolvent enterprises. The bank invested over 13.9 billion soums. The volume of production at rehabilitated enterprise comprised over 2.8 billion soums.
