According to the ministry, insurance companies collected about 133.772 billion soums of insurance premiums in Tashkent city in January-June, which grew by 16.5% year-on-year. Share of Tashkent in total collected insurance premiums was 49.37%.

Tashkent region was the second with the share of 7.42%. The volume of collected insurance premiums in Tashkent region was 20.106 billion soums in the reporting period, which rose by 23.4% year-on-year.

Ferghana region was the third on the volume of collected insurance premiums in the first half of 2015 with the share of 5.79%. The insurance premiums for 15.702 billion soums (+18.6%) were collected in the region in the reporting period.

Navoi region (5.253 billion soums, growth – 25.8%), Syrdarya region (6.156 billion soums, +43.8%) and Jizzakh region (6.454 biillion soums, +25.8%) were three outsiders on the volume of collected insurance premiums in the reporting period.

Insurance companies of Uzbekistan collected insurance premiums for about 270.935 billion soums in the first half of 2015, which grew by 22% year-on-year.
