Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- "Every member-country of Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) (Armenia, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan) will send in formation of Collective Rapid Reaction Forces by one single battalion", declared Adakhan Madumarov, the secretary of Kyrgyzstan’s Security Council during the press conference on 4 February, who has been also taking part in Collective Security Council of CSTO in Moscow.

Russian President Dmitriy Medvedev considered it necessary to create united armed forces on 4 February while addressing the Collective Security Council extra meeting participants. According to the Russian leader, all participants of the summit have agreed on the need for the force.
