Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The World Junior Weightlifting Championship is coming to an end in the Mexican city of Leon. On the next day of the tournament, the Uzbek athlete managed to climb the podium.
Kudratbek Salimjonov, performing in the weight category up to 102 kg, won silver medals in all programs. Our compatriot in the snatch showed the result of 156 kg and 171 kg in the clean and jerk, thus 327 kg in the sum of two exercises. Gold medals went to Nikita Abdrakhmanov from Kazakhstan.
