Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Russian company Telecominvest, a subsidiary of Alisher Usmanov’s USM Holding Company, has acquired shares in Kapitalbank.

Telecominvest acquired 65.97 million shares of the bank, which is 16.7% of the authorized capital of Kapitalbank.

The transaction amount is 215.3 billion soums.

On 11 October 2021, Kapitalbank registered an additional issue of ordinary shares of the bank to be placed by private subscription. The nominal value of the Bank’s shares is 62.67 billion soums.
