Ukrainian publication Segodnya (Today) reported that Department of city construction and architecture of Kiev made an offer to the Embassy of Uzbekistan to construct a square in national style in one of the parks of Ukrainian capital.

Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Ukraine Alisher Abdualiev said that two variants of location of the square were offered to the Uzbek side. Currently, the Uzbek specialists are reviewing places and after agreeing with Kiev administration, the square can be created.

He said that the square will be created in national style with use of traditional materials and ornaments.

He recalled that there is architecture-memorial complex with bust of Taras Shevchenko and picture of Kobzar-player. Uzbek envoy said that the Uzbek side wants to create similar complex with monument of Alisher Navoi from bronze and picture from works of the poet.
