Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - An extraordinary report-selective conference of the Tennis Federation of Uzbekistan was held at the National Olympic Committee. The agenda addressed the issue of electing a new leader to the federation.

The conference was hosted by the Secretary General of the Tennis Federation of Uzbekistan, Vice-President of the Asian Tennis Federation Iroda Tulyaganova and read out a report on the work done, successes and shortcomings in the activities of the federation. After that, the candidacy of the chairman of the board of the National Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mirsoatov Alisher Kudratullaevich was nominated for the post of new head of the federation. Conference participants unanimously approved it and Alisher Mirsoatov was declared the head of the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation.

Next, the President of the NOC Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov and the Chairman of the Council of Sports Veterans of Uzbekistan Komiljon Khudoyberganov spoke and wished good luck to the new leader.

“Tennis is one of my favorite sports. The former leader worked professionally, and now I am required to work even harder. I promise that together with the team we will work together and realize new goals. I was very proud when the flag of Uzbekistan rose high in the international arena. From now on, we will make every effort so that our victories will be many in tennis. Thanks to the attention of our Dear President to sport, we will take sport to a new level,” said Alisher Mirsoatov.
