Symbolic
Any artist has his own certain symbolic in the works by which his hand is recognized. The Almal Nur’s pictures full of symbols, signs, metaphors. The symbols in his pictures come by intuition, not as such, but have a basis. Thus, in the East, the bread is a symbol of God’s grace and the sun, the apples are a forbidden fruit, and the fish is a symbol of purity. The Tree of Life is a pair of scales where our sins are put on, women are angels, dervishes are what an artist feels, something he comes back to constantly in his creative work. But how one can depict the Divine? A human is waiting the meeting with God all his life.
