Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Nagoya University Alumni Association was formed in 2000. Currently, its branches operate in 14 countries. The president of this association is the Honorary Chairman of Toyota Corporation, Shoichiro Toyoda.
At the last meeting of the alumni association members, Akmal Burkhanov, chairman of the Yuksalish National Movement, a graduate of the Nagoya University, was elected the head of the association’s branch in Uzbekistan. Now he will simultaneously carry out activities in this position.
The branch in Uzbekistan will contribute to further deepening cooperation between Uzbek students who have graduated from this university, young scientists and the university, as well as involving graduates from other countries in joint scientific research and research, and exchange of experience.
Nagoya University is recognized as one of the leading educational institutions in the world. Many Nobel laureates and famous scientists are graduates of this university.
For information, to date, over 400 Uzbek students and researchers have studied at this university.
