Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new educational institution, the AKITA - Korea IT Alliance Academy, has opened in Yuksalish district of Tashkent region, Uzbekistan.
The inauguration ceremony was held in collaboration with Turin Polytechnic University and South Korea’s Yongnam University.
The event was attended by the khokim (governor) of the district, Uskenbay Atemov, the chairman of the Board of Directors of AKITA, Jong Ok-Rae, the rector of TTPU, Olimjon Tuychiev, and representatives of the public.
AKITA is a faculty established in partnership with the South Korean IT industry academy.
Its primary goal is to train talented specialists for Uzbekistan using advanced IT technologies and educational programs from South Korea.
The academy’s curriculum includes fields such as wireless communication engineering, broadcasting, artificial intelligence, information systems, and media design.
It is expected that graduates of the academy will be employed by leading companies in both Uzbekistan and South Korea.
