Akgul Amanmuradova reaches second round of BMW Malaysian Open

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representative of Uzbekistan Akgul Amanmuradova advanced to the second round of BMW Malaysian Open, which is taking place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

In the first round of the tournament, Amanmuradova outplayed the world number 120 Kai-Chen Chang of Chinese Taipei - 6/1 and 6/3.

The match lasted an hour and 14 minutes. Amanmuradova broke her opponent four times and served three aces. Kai-Chen Chang recorded two aces and seven double faults.

Akgul Amanmuradova will face Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova of Russia in next round of the competition.
