Akgul Amanmuradova of Uzbekistan upset 20-seeded Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez of Spain in straight set of the opening round of the French Open on Sunday.
Amanmuradova claimed the first set with the score 6:2, while she make one break to hand 6-4 defeat in the second.
Akgul Amanmuradova will face Johanna Larsson in the second round after the Swede beat Latvia's Anastasija Sevastova 6-2 6-2.
