Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The National Export-Import Insurance Company Uzbekinvest and Ak Bars Bank (Tatarstan) signed an agreement on cooperation.

Under the document, the bank will provide guarantee support and financing of export-import transactions with the participation of the Uzbekinvest insurance company.

The document was signed within the framework of a roundtable “The involvement of the banking sector in development of relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Tatarstan”.

The event was attended by representatives of banks and enterprises of Uzbekistan, as well as the national company of export-import insurance "Uzbekinvest".

The participants discussed the strategy of development of interbank relations, including the provision of trade financing, when arranging deals with exporters and importers of Tatarstan.

The delegation of Ak Bars Bank also held meetings with representatives of the National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity, Asaka Bank, Uzpromstroybank and Qishloq Qurilish Bank.

Also, as part of the business trip, negotiations were held with representatives of large business: UzAuto TRAILER LLC and Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
