Airline Donavia to open new flight from Sochi to Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Airline Donavia will expand geography of its flights from Sochi in its summer navigation in 2010.

The company said Donavia will open its flight from Sochi to Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan.

“Flights from Sochi to Tashkent in new route for Donavia. The flights Sochi-Tashkent and Tashkent-Sochi will be launched on 1 April and carried out on Thursdays,” the airline said.

Donavia will carry out flights on Boeing-737 airplanes and offer seats in business and economy classes.

Airline Donavia (earlier Aeroflot-Don) provides regular and charter air transport of passengers and cargos to multiple destinations in Russia, Europe, Asia and Africa from airports in Rostov-on-Don, Moscow and Sochi.

Donavia operates its own air fleet aerotechnical base, flight crews, ground services for flight operations (flight catering unit, etc.), has offices in Russia and abroad.

Donavia history began in 1925. Today, it is the biggest airline company in the Russian South. On April 2000, Donavia organized into an open joint-stock company (since 2007, 100% of its stock is owned by JSC Aeroflot - Russian Airlines, Moscow).
