Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 3 July, Abdulaziz Gulamov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Tashkent State University of Transport, met with Airbus International Vice President for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Jacques Garric, and Director of International Cooperation of the company, Hugues de Bers.

During the meeting, issues related to training highly qualified personnel for the aviation industry were discussed. As a result of the negotiations, the parties reached the following agreements:

Equipping the laboratories of the Transport University with modern equipment with the support of Airbus;

6-month internships and further training for teachers;

Organizing internships for the best students studying at the aviation faculty in various specialties, at the Airbus facilities in Toulouse, France, funded by grants from the company.
