Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the head office of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Beijing, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Farhod Arziev met with the president of the bank, Jin Liqun, Dunyo news agency reported.

Jin Liqun highly appreciated the dynamics of the development of relations between the AIIB and Uzbekistan, emphasizing that the main impetus for their activation is the progressive reforms carried out in Uzbekistan. “We are very pleased with our cooperation with Uzbekistan and the active level of interaction.”

The AIIB President confirmed his intention during his next visit to Uzbekistan to visit those regions of the republic where projects are being implemented with the participation of the bank.
