The President of Uzbekistan Football Federation (UFF) Mirabrar Usmanov announced this decision at the meeting of the organization.

Mirabrar Usmanov expected gratitude to Ahmad Ubaydullaev for his contribution to development of the Uzbek football. He said his side claimed the second place in the Asian U-18 Championship and played in FIFA U-19 World Cup in Egypt.

“Taking into account this, the federation offered him new post. May be in future he will head Uzbekistan national team or leading clubs, but now he will responsible for selection of players across Uzbekistan,” the UFF chief said.

Usmanov said that Uzbekistan has many talented players, but they should be found and trained. He said that specialists like Ubaydullaev should do that.
