Uzbekistan Football Federation said that the team held the training camp in Spain from 20 April to 4 May 2012 and played four matches.

Ahmadjon Musaev said he is happy that it was possible to hold the training camp in Spain. He said that team gained international experience and played four matches, where various game plans were tested.

He said that Uzbekistan U-19 played four friendly matches. The first match was held against Villarreal and the Uzbek side suffered a 1-2 defeat. Uzbekistan beat Huracan with the score 3-1, and played 2-2 draw with Hercules and 1-1 draw with Levante.

At the same time, Musaev said that physical preparation of his team is not in optimal level. He added that the team will be in form to the AFC U-19 Championship.

The UAE will host a draw ceremony for the final stage of AFC U-19 Championship on 13 May. Uzbekistan is in pot 2 along with Saudi Arabia, Japan and China.
